FROM THE INCAN EMPIRE TO THE DIGITAL AGE.
The Quipu (or Kipu) was the "computer" of the ancient Andes. Without a written alphabet, the Incas managed a vast empire using this sophisticated system of knotted strings.
It was used for encryption, statistical records, and sending secret messages across thousands of kilometers. It represents the earliest form of Database Availability and Information Integrity in the Americas.
"We chose this name to honor our roots. We believe Latin America has always been a region of innovation, and today, that innovation happens in code."
KipuCon is an independent initiative launched by the team at Sec-Llama. We are an offensive security and infrastructure defense firm based in Lima, Peru, serving clients across LATAM and Israel.
